Hornchurch Badminton Club are a friendly group of badminton enthusiast that wanted a logo to branch out to help attract new members. The brief was simple, ‘design a clear logo to easily connect local badminton players to grow their club’.

 With the shuttlecock being the fundamental aspect of the game and the sport itself, I wanted to focus on that being included. To emphasise the speed of the shuttle and how it moves after being hit at a downward trajectory I used 3 lines behind the shuttle. This aspect of the logo can also double up as a great icon for other uses.

 Other than using the logo for advertisement, it can also be showcased on the front of club members shirts to show who they represent when playing. The most efficient way of getting club kit is to use Yonex’s kit builder. I have shown some examples of the logo on a variety of Yonex Kits.
